C-BIRDS EXPERTS: FEASIBILITY/DEPLOYMENT STUDY: 3 MONTHS

Definition and sizing of the network of airborne infrastructures and measurement instruments tailored to the typology of the city and its specific climatic problems.

C-BIRDS ONE (THE FIRST CAPTIVE BALLOON OF THE CLIMATE BIRDS NETWORK): 6 MONTHS / 1 YEAR

Provision of raw data + determination of medium- and long-term climate trends (frequency and intensity of phenomena such as heat islands, rainfall, air quality, evapotranspiration, energy loss, etc.).

CLIMATE BIRDS NETWORK: DEPLOYMENT OF THE OPTIMAL NETWORK: PERMANENT INSTALLATION

Hyper-local characterisation of urban microclimates (precise district-by-district maps) and determination of predictive medium- and long-term climate models.

INTERNET OF THE CLIMATE: PRODUCT AVAILABLE AS FROM 2020

Access to a global platform, anonymously combining the aggregated indicators of the various CLIMATE BIRDS networks and enabling a city to be characterised by comparing it with an existing standard climate model.

Each city equipped with a Climate Birds network will host a local operations centre allowing data to be gathered, processed and stored. The centre will also convey data to Climate City centres dedicated to research and modelling of the urban climate.
